Dr Strange in the MOM😬

Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is GOOOOOD!

I am so glad to watch it ASAP because as I came home on Friday reading on the internet, a bit of the secret cast are way too easy to find out already. Yep, cameos there will be. 

Without giving out spoilers, I have to say the horror element is fantastic. I really liked the shots that actors look directly into the camera in some scenes. That way, audiences experience an eye contact through the huge screen while the character might have blood on the face and they are conveying to you what crazy shit they will be doing next. The movie promotion has set up some expectation with Sam Raimi directing. I truly would love to see more of his work with Dr Strange and MCU! 

I watched the film in a 4DX theater which I also did for Black Widow and Shang Chi movies. This new Dr Strange film has the best 4DX experience in comparison. Black Widow and Shang Chi are mostly physical fighters so the harder physical experiences were a lot, meaning hard throw down, car crash feelings on the theater chair... Dr Strange's style is less physical and more illusional (or multiversal or multidimensional! ;)). The vibration or hit you receive is not too intense while some fight and plots are progressing vigorously! All these seems to balance better including a good variety of 4DX effects. I highly recommend 4DX and any 3D versions. 

Your expectation on the storyline depends if you know the characters and recent productions well! Or do you actually know much about dreaming in real life? If you are not confidently saying YES, trying to understand the multiverse tweak could be on the difficult side. It's a movie after all, enjoy the costumes, the technologies, like the sounds, visual effects and surprises (post credit scene for sure!). WandaVision had set up the whole intention behind what Wanda did. Her intention for this movie was however simple actually. Dr Strange's situation was more complicated, mainly due to his decisions during Avengers Infinity War. If you incline to do some revision, besides what's mentioned, What If series is a great show to take yourself into other realities MCU is preparing for you!
