Tyler, What A Heavy Ability To Possess

I had watched an episode of The Goop Lab a couple months ago that introduced me to medium or psychic, again. It was just a 30-minute episode, not very in depth. The medium was Laura Lynne Jackson. The ability she showed was amazing. While I didn't try to remember what's discussed exactly, I definitely remember she was communicating with a crew member's dead family unintentionally. (Now that I think it might had been intentional!!!! Reality TV shows!)

This time with Tyler's show: Watch Life After Death with Tyler Henry, I find that this is a very invested production, not just exploring his ability but also some of his personal challenges. I enjoyed watching him communicate to express the messages. During a reading, while some interpretations or intuitions are more certain than the others, he had to use really precise and concise words to make that slight difference, unless the message is crystal clear to him.

His smile and the way he looks so positive are delightful to see. It feels like he's welcoming the IRL audiences as well as everything that wants to come through. When you see him scribbling for many times, you might wonder if you can do the same and communicate with the other side!

See Tyler's smile on his new book cover!

You know what, I tried to scribble for 2 seconds and I felt too afraid to continue. I don't want that power! This is scary, in a way that I was trying to embrace the unknowns, or the ghosts! In the last episode of this series, Tyler got back to a live stage. I can believe that behind the many audiences, a couple spirits might want to come through. That means, he was not just facing the limited amount of attendees but a lot more folks who don't even need a ticket! Maybe it doesn't work that way though.

About 20 years ago, I went to a reading with my family, to try to talk to my grandfather who just passed away. That was a bizarre experience. The psychic lady had a different way to connect, in a temple kind of place. I guess she did the job and it had been meaningful to some of my family members. One time I also heard that a family member tried to talk to us through another distant family member's dream. I can't say I totally believed these in person experiences though.

At this point, as I'm writing, there is a strong feeling of deeply missing my grandmother who transitioned last year. Unfortunately, she was in Hong Kong where overseas family members traveling back was rather risky. Some of us didn't have the chance to say goodbye. Thinking about all the messages Tyler shared in this series, it would be really nice to have a way to communicate to let us know that she has moved on at her peaceful pace, joining my grandfather finally after such a long time.
